Lisle Police Warn Of Dangerous Heat

Lisle Police Department is urging community members to stay safe and cool during this weekend's heatwave.

LISLE, IL — Lisle Police Department is providing a list of local cooling centers, while sharing an important message for community members who may be outside in the extreme heat this weekend, or what police say is a heatwave. Police urge everyone to use caution when working or playing outside and to check on those who may be more affected by the heat, including pets, as this weather is hot for them too.

Also, Lisle police say a list of local cooling centers can be found on the Village of Lisle website, for those in need.

  • Lisle Police Department Lobby, 5040 Lincoln Avenue (Route 53): Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Closed Weekends and Holidays. If the Lobby is closed, use the phone in the foyer to call 911 for help.
  • Lisle Library, 777 Front Street (during regular business hours): Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Lisle Village Hall Lobby, 925 Burlington Avenue: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Lisle Train Station Depot, 1000 Front Street: 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Tunnels Open 24/7
  • DuPage County Administrative Buildings
  • Other Public Places
