Literacy DuPage: Last Volunteer Orientation

Are you looking for an opportunity to literally change someone's life by becoming an English tutor?

Literacy DuPage is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides free, accessible and customized tutoring in English to adult learners in DuPage County. We have over 200 learners who are waiting for volunteer tutors. We are seeking volunteers to serve their neighbors who need help to improve their basic English skills.

If you are interested, please register for the final volunteer orientation for the spring by calling us at (630) 416-6699. This orientation will be held at the Lisle Library (777 Front Street, Lisle) on Tues. March 31, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.

No prior teaching experience is necessary. We will train and guide you throughout the tutoring process. You and your learner will then meet for tutoring at a mutually convenient time and location once per week for two hours.
