Literacy DuPage: Volunteer Opportunities!
Are you looking for an opportunity to literally change someone's life by becoming an English tutor?

Literacy DuPage is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides free, accessible and customized tutoring in English to adult learners in DuPage County. We have about 200 learners who are waiting for tutors. We are seeking volunteers to serve their neighbors who need help to improve their basic English skills.
No prior teaching experience is necessary. We will train and guide you throughout the tutoring process. You and your learner will then meet for tutoring at a mutually convenient time and location once per week.
The next volunteer orientation session is at the DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church, 1828 Old Naperville Rd, Naperville on Wednesday, March 4, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Click here for more information about us, to learn about the process of becoming a volunteer tutor, and to see upcoming orientation and training dates. Please call us at (630) 416-6699 to register for one of our volunteer orientation sessions or to ask any questions.
