LSHS Math Team Finishes Tenth Overall at State Meet
The team finished tenth overall, and an eight-person team of juniors and seniors placed second in their division.

The 2010-2011 LSHS math team finished their season competing in the ICTM state competition at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. The team finished tenth overall in the 2A division, with a score of 476. The Lisle mathletes did very well in several of the events.
- The highest placing team was the Junior/Senior 8 person team that finished in second place, with 60 points. The team consisted of juniors Robbie Dean, Drew Martin, Amanda Mocarski, and Samantha Mocarski, and seniors Najid Ali, PJ McQuirk, Tijana Popovic, and Mike Swartz.
- In the Algebra 1 event the highest placing Lisle student was freshman Carissa Lao (14 points).
- In the Geometry event the highest placing Lisle student was sophomore Rachel Jennings (18 points).
- In the Algebra II event the highest placing Lisle student was junior Robbie Dean (16 points).
- And in the Pre-Calculus event the highest placing Lisle student was senior Ben Rowe (24 points).
