'Multiple Bursts Of Gunfire' Lead To Felony Charges In Lisle
The incident took place Wednesday night.

LISLE, IL — A Lisle man faces felony gun charges after police were dispatched to River Drive for a report of "multiple bursts of gunfire" Wednesday night.
Heath Earl Tammilo, 55, of Lisle, was charged with reckless conduct and possession of a firearm without a firearm owner's identification card in connection with the incident.
Police say they received "multiple 9-1-1 calls" to report shots fired near the 4500 block of River Drive around 9:15 p.m. When police got to the scene, they established a perimeter and took two people into custody.

According to police, officers found two handguns, along with ammunition and 21 spent bullet casings, at the scene. Police say the guns had not been fired at anyone.
In a statement, Lisle Police Chief Michael Rodriguez said, “This incident was resolved safely due to quick reportingfrom residents and the rapid response of our officers. We appreciate the community’s continued partnership and willingness to call 9-1-1 when something doesn’t seem right.”

Tammilo was in custody at DuPage County Jail pending a court hearing.
