Naperville Home Uninhabitable Following Tuesday Blaze

No one was injured Tuesday night in a blaze at a home in the 1700 block of Schey Court.

Firefighters responded after receiving a report at 8:42 p.m. of a fire in a bedroom of the home, according to a Naperville Fire Department press release.

Firefighters were able to quickly get the blaze, which was found in an upstairs bedroom of the home, under control. The main body of the fire was confined to a bedroom on the second floor. There was a moderate amount of smoke damage throughout the house.

The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation. The building has been deemed uninhabitable until repairs can be made.
