Naperville Man Accused of Causing Fatal I-88 Crash Dies

The Naperville man accused of causing a fatal accident on I-88 last month died Friday afternoon, according to a report from the Naperville Sun.

William A. Howe's vehicle was seen driving the wrong way down the westbound lanes of I-88 on Aug. 6, and witnesses reported Howe was from the windows. According to police, his vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla.

Howe was transferred from Edward Hospital in Naperville to Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, where he died, according to the Naperville Sun report.

The former dentist had a charges, and was suffering financial troubles at the time of the accident.

Howe was charged with for the incident prior to his death.
