Naperville Man, Chicago Man Charged With Residential Burglary In Lisle
Police say Erik Pelligrino, 31, of Naperville and Jonte McMillian, 33, of Chicago, broke a window to gain entry to a home on Burlington.
LISLE, IL — A Naperville man and a Chicago man have been charged with residential burglary after police say they broke into a home on Burlington Avenue in Lisle Monday.
Erik Pelligrino, 31, of the 1900 block of Fairoak Road, Naperville, and Jonte McMillian, 33, of the 8000 block of South King Drive, were arrested when police stopped the vehicle they were in as it was leaving the home in question.
Lisle Police Chief Kevin Licko told Patch no charges were filed against a third person who had been in the suspect vehicle, as police had "no evidence of [their] intent to commit a burglary."

Police were called to the home in the 1700 block of Burlington Avenue just after 1:45 p.m. when neighbors reported the incident via 911.
The homeowner confirmed to police that the window had been broken and that some items had been taken during the burglary. Chief Licko said officers recovered a stolen laptop from the car.

Licko told Patch, "The officers did a great job. The neighbor calling it in and the officers being in the area at the time of the call aligned perfectly for us."
