Naperville Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

The armed robbery occurred Friday afternoon in a parking lot near 352 S. Route 59.

Naperville police are looking for a man suspected in an armed robbery that occurred in a parking lot at 4:10 p.m. Friday.

Police said the man approached a victim, who was walking in the parking lot near 352 S. Route 59; displayed a handgun; and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim turned the wallet over and the suspect ran to a waiting car and fled on Route 59, according to a Naperville Police Department press release.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, between 5-feet 11-inches and 6-feet tall and weighing between 220 and 240 pounds. He was wearing all dark clothing.
