National Dog Day: Send Patch Your Pup Pics

ACROSS ILLINOIS - On Aug. 26, pup owners will celebrate that most sacred of all pet holidays: National Dog Day. In honor of this hallowed holiday, we're inviting Patch readers to send pics of their dogs for a chance to be featured in an article.

If you're part of the pup-parazzi and would like to celebrate your four-legged friend's face on National Dog Day, here's what to do:

1. Pick one (1) amazing photo of your dog

2. Attach in an email to lisa.farver@patch.com

3. Write "National Dog Day" in the subject line

4. Tell us something about your pooch, like his or her name or any cool tricks they can do.

5. Wait for Aug. 26 when the National Dog Day article debuts!

We're expecting a ton of submissions for this one, so please be patient as we try to include each pup!
