One-Stop-Shop: Benedictine event makes transferring quick and easy

Transfer students interested in attending Benedictine University for the Spring 2015 Semester can complete all of their application paperwork and register for classes in a single day during “One-Stop-Shop” appointments in December and January.

Prospective students can meet with representatives from Admissions, the New Student Advising Center and the Office of Financial Aid in Lownik Hall from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday, December 29-31, and from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Monday-Friday, January 5-10.

The event is designed to help students interested in the University’s traditional daytime programs get through the entire enrollment process within a few hours. They can apply, become admitted and register so they don’t have to wait until fall 2015 to resume working toward a degree.

Students must bring all official transcripts, be in good academic standing, have a minimum 2.0 GPA and a minimum of 20 transferable semester credit hours (students with lower than the required minimum credit hours must satisfy freshmen admissions requirements).

The first day of classes for the spring term is Monday, January 12.

According to AffordableCollegesOnline.org, Benedictine University is ranked among the top 25 most affordable Catholic colleges and universities in the country with the highest starting salaries earned by graduates. Forbes magazine named Benedictine among “America’s Top Colleges” for the fourth consecutive year in 2014.
