Operation Support Our Troops-America and Jewel-Osco Team Up For Shop and Drop For the Troops On August 19 and 20

OPERATION SUPPORT OUR TROOPS-AMERICA AND JEWEL FOODS TEAM UP FOR SHOP AND DROP FOR THE TROOPS ON AUGUST 19 AND 20
Naperville, Ill. – Operation Support Our Troops - America will be working with two Chicagoland Jewel Food Stores for a Shop and Drop to collect needed items for troops serving overseas in harm's way. The Shop and Drop will be held on Friday, August 19 from 2pm – 8pm and Saturday, August 20 from 9am - 5pm at Jewel-Osco in Bolingbrook at 1200 W. Boughton Road and Jewel-Osco in Naperville at 1227 Naper Blvd.

A full list of items needed will be at each location, but the top five needed items are:
1. Flat pack tuna (foil packages)
2. Boxed crackers (14 oz or less)
3. Beef Jerky / Slim Jims
4. Jelly (16 oz or less / no glass 5. AA Batteries

Operation Support Our Troops - America is a volunteer non-profit 501 ( c ) (3) organization with a Four Star rating from Charity Navigator (www.charitynavigator.org), top ratings from Great Nonprofits, a Platinum rating from Guidestar and a top rating from the Better Business Bureau. OSOT-America’s mission is to improve the morale of troops serving in harm’s way, support the families of the deployed military, and provide help and support for the returning wounded. Each military person receives a package weighing approximately 25 lbs. and costs about $25 to ship.
