LISLE, IL — Memorial Day falls on May 29 this year and Lisle is already planning a parade and remembrance ceremonies to honor those who served.

The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from Lisle Junior High School and make its way down Green Trails Drive before heading down Main Street to School Street. From School, the parade will make its way to Center Street, where it will wrap up.

Residents and veterans are encouraged to march in the parade, which will have a somber tone without candy or sirens, as a way to respect those who died in battle.
