Recycle Unwanted Clothes, Electronics June 18 In Lisle

Residents can drop off clothes and electronics at a recycling event planned for June 18 near village hall in Lisle.

LISLE, IL — Lisle residents who still have items left over after their spring cleaning, can head to an Electronics and Clothing Recycling event at the commuter lot near Village Hall on June 18.

Clothing donations will washed and resold, repurposed into painting and cleaning rags or packaged for use as insulation, packing material and other items. The following items are eligible for this part of the Electronics and Clothing Recycling drive:

  • Bedding
  • Cloth accessories
  • Clothes
  • Other household textiles
  • Purses
  • Rags
  • Shoes

Click the link to see which electronics items to recycle June 18. A fee of $25 to $35 will be charged for recycling computer monitors and televisions, depending on their size.
