Rep. Sandack to Host Free Document Shredding Event and Open House in Downers Grove

State Representative Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove) invites residents of the 81st Legislative House District to take advantage of a free document shredding event and Open House on Saturday, June 20.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Sandack’s District Office, located at 633 Rogers Street in Downers Grove. Two boxes of shreddable documents will be accepted from each vehicle. “Drivers simply need to drive up and let our volunteers unload up to two boxes of documents that will be fed into a large document shredding truck,” said Sandack. “It is the perfect opportunity to safely dispose of old bank statements, checks and other sensitive documents and you can actually watch the documents go through the shredder.”

After dropping off documents for shredding, the public is invited to join Sandack in his office, located on site in Suite 108, for coffee, donuts and conversation. “I specifically chose my office as the location for the shred truck so that the citizens I represent can see where my office is located and learn about the services and assistance my office staff can provide,” Sandack said. “I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of new people and learning about the issues that are important to them.”
