Spay Illinois offering resource for low income pet owners

Visit Spay Illinois for affordable pet care

Is the cost of annual preventative veterinary care making it too difficult to keep your pets healthy? At Spay Illinois, we understand and we believe that no pet should ever be denied quality healthcare because of the expense. We’ve teamed up with Banfield Foundation to offer “Pet Wellness for All” a program for pet owners receiving LINK (Food Stamp) benefits or SSDI (Social Security Disability Income) through the state of Illinois. Qualifying clients, those receiving current benefits and whose pets have been spayed or neutered can receive special discounts on preventative care services. If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, we have special programs to help you afford those services, too. Through this program, 1 YR Rabies vaccines are available for $5, vaccinations for canine or feline distemper and bordetella are available for $6, dogs can receive a heartworm test for only $5, and both cats and dogs can be microchipped for only $5. Microchipping includes your pet’s lifetime registration in the Found Animals microchip registry. This offer is available for a limited time only and is honored on a first come, first serve basis. Visit us at any of our vaccine clinic locations to participate. To view a list of upcoming clinic events, visit www.spayillinois.org or call (630) 961-8000 to learn more.
