Special Branch Collection Planned After Aug. 11 Storms In Lisle

LISLE, IL — The village has planned another special branch collection to help residents with debris from Tuesday's storms.

The special collection day is scheduled to start on Aug. 17.

Here are some guidelines to prepare your branches for collection:

• Branches must be placed as close to the street as possible, with cut ends facing the street
• Individual branches cannot be more than five feet long and eight inches in diameter
• Piles of branches should not exceed three feet wide, three feet high and five feet long
• Branch piles should not weigh more than 50 pound.

Collection crews will only be making one round through the village. To ensure pickup, residents must have their branches at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday, the village's update said.
