Just a quick reminder that Monday, July 22 at 7pm, there will be a Special Workshop Meeting of the Lisle Board of Trustees in the Village Hall Board Room. There is only ONE thing on the agenda: Discussion of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Pre-Application for FEMA. This meeting will discuss the very first steps in the process for applying for a FEMA sponsored buy-out or elevation project. It is IMPERATIVE that anyone with an opinion on this subject attend the meeting and make your voice heard. In addition, if you have not already, please be certain to take the FEMA Mitigation Survey on the front page of the VOL website. This survey is different from the survey the village initially sent out in the week or so after the flood. It is easily taken from either your computer or smartphone.
