Sprinkles Needs A Foster Home by 4/11!

The Difference Between Being Abandoned in a Shelter and Being Rescued on 4/11 is A Foster Home!

Meet Sprinkles!

About 6 months old - Spaniel Mix

Sprinkles is a sweet little girl that was abandoned in Alabama. She was taken in by one of our partner rescues which most likely saved her life. Even though she was left to fend on her own, she loves people and is such a wonderful girl! She is crate trained, housebroken, and great with children.

Safe Haven Dog Rescue would like to bring her to Illinois on 4/11…

But she needs a foster home first!

She is also available for our Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to be the family that greets her when she arrives in Illinois. Foster to Adopt families have the first option to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you!

While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need!) and a warm place for these pups until they find their forever homes. We also require that you have the ability to take these pups to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in North Aurora.

Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life. By becoming a foster you are saving 2 lives - the animal you bring into your home while he or she waits to be adopted, and the animal who gets to take your foster’s place in the shelter.

Please email safehavendogs@yahoo.com for a foster application or additional details.
