St. Joan of Arc Students Collect 674 Boxes of Cereal for Local Food Pantries

In the spirit of generosity and service, students and families at St. Joan of Arc came together before Christmas

Lisle, IL – January 2, 2026— In the spirit of generosity and service, students and families at St. Joan of Arc came together before Christmas break to collect an impressive 674 boxes of cereal to support local families in need. This initiative was spearheaded by St. Joan of Arc’s Student Council, whose student leaders took a role in planning, organizing, and leading the project.
The cereal donations were distributed to FISH Community Food Pantry and West Suburban Food Pantry, helping to stock shelves during a time when demand for food assistance is especially high.
This school-wide effort was made possible through the kindness and participation of students, parents, and staff, who embraced the opportunity to serve others during the Advent and Christmas season. The collection not only provided much-needed food, but also reinforced the importance of compassion, stewardship, and community service among students.
St. Joan of Arc is grateful to everyone who contributed and to FISH Community Food Pantry and West Suburban Food Pantry for their continued work serving the community.
