'Suspicious' Fire Guts Garage Of Home In Woodridge: LWFD
The blaze also destroyed two cars that were inside the garage, fire officials say.

WOODRIDGE, IL — A "suspicious" fire destroyed a garage and the two cars inside it at a home in the 2900 block of Forest Glen Parkway in Woodridge early Monday, fire officials say.
Firefighters arrived at the scene around 5:45 a.m. to find heavy smoke and fire that was causing the home that was roughly 20 feet from the garage to be exposed to high heat. It took fire crews about 15 minutes to put out the blaze, but they stayed on hand until 7:30 am. to handle overhaul and salvage of the damaged building.
After the fire, Woodridge police sought a missing, at-risk adult, who was later found safe.
