Suspicious Incident Reported At Prairie Walk Pond In Lisle
The woman told police that a man followed her into the park and asked to speak with her kids.

LISLE, IL -- Police in Lisle are investigating a suspicious incident in which a man followed a woman into a park and asked to speak with her children. The incident took place Thursday evening near Prairie Walk Pond on Garfield Avenue, police say.
The woman told police that the man followed the woman and her children into the park and was making small talk. He then asked the woman if he could speak to her kids. The woman said no and left the area, police say.
The man was described as being in his 30s, roughly 5'8" tall, and "possibly of Indian descent." He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans and driving a gray Nissan Altima.

Police say no other similar incidents have been reported in the area, but are reminding parents to call 911 whenever they see or experience behavior that may be suspicious.
