Tree Lighting, Santa Parade To Ring In Holidays In Downtown Lisle
Head to downtown Lisle on Dec. 3 for festivities that also include blacksmith demos, hot chocolate and holiday-themed crafts.
LISLE, IL — Downtown Lisle will be aglow with the holiday spirit on Dec. 3 for the village's annual tree lighting ceremony and Santa Parade. The festivities also include holiday-themed crafts and snacks, along with discounts and specials at stores and restaurants all day long for the Merry on Main event.
Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony
Starting at 3 p.m., paper lanterns will be illuminated around Prairiewalk Pond and along the downtown area to spark the feeling of Christmas cheer. The Santa Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of School and Spencer Streets and makes its way west to Main Street, which it will take to Burlington Avenue and come to a stop outside of the village hall.

Residents have until Nov. 22 to apply to be in the Santa Parade.
The 2022 tree lighting ceremony is set for 5 p.m. outside of Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Ave.

Once Upon A Christmas
From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. families can head to The Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School St., for Once Upon a Christmas. The free event includes visits with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, blacksmith demonstrations and hot chocolate and cider.
