Twitter, Four Square Users Delight in Conan Blimp Sightings

There have been several reports of the orange blimp over the last week. Have you seen it?

Are you a Conan O'Brien fan? Several residents have reported Team Coco's tell-tale orange blimp floating over Chicagoland throughout the week, and social media users were very helpful in providing the photographic evidence of its presence over Lisle. (Other claims I've heard this week that are not true: downtown has decked its halls in Christmas lights already. I've only seen decorative spiderwebs.)

Have you seen what one Twitter user dubbed "an orange ball of awesomeness"?

While the sighting alone was enough for some, active FourSquare users could unlock the Conan Blimpspotter 2011 badge and upload their own photos. Those who receive this badge are eligible to redeem a physical badge (here's a link to what it looks like).

The @TeamCoco Twitter page is also asking users to tag it in photos. Through the Team Coco website, fans are able to track the blimp's movements in real time and even check out its bird's eye view.

Patch tracked its movements over the village.
