Budget expenses were prioritized in a manner that seeks to derive the greatest value for Lisle residents, establishes sustainable financing that represents prudent financial planning, fosters increased productivity and innovation, and enables continuing adaptation to changing community needs. The budget includes $1.6 million to be invested in Village streets and infrastructure, $845,000 in water and sewer systems, and $260,000 in stormwater improvement projects to improve stormwater management. It also includes repayment of a $6 million inter-fund transfer that will save approximately $616,000 in interest costs.

“I am particularly thankful to my fellow elected officials and our Village staff for working collaboratively to develop a budget that continues to provide vital services to Lisle residents, maintains critical infrastructure, and is forward-looking in providing support to the community into the future,” said Mayor Christopher Pecak. “Through strategic investments, wise and judicious use of tax payer revenue, the critical needs of the Village will be funded without an increase to the Village’s portion of the property tax levy.”
