October 8, 2021
The weekly curbside collection of loose leaves from all single-family homes within the Village of Lisle corporate limits is scheduled to begin on October 18th and run through the week of November 15th, weather permitting. To take advantage of this convenient service, leaves need to be raked as close to the street as possible by 7:00 a.m. Monday morning at the beginning of each week of the program. Leaves should not be bagged, and no grass or landscaping debris will be accepted. To ensure that crews can collect the leaves, please do not park cars on the street near leaf piles. Residents are encouraged to rake leaves as early in the season as possible to assure collection of as many leaves as possible. Any remaining leaves after the program concludes, will need to be placed in stickered yard waste bags or carts for collection by the Village’s waste hauler, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS). LRS will continue to collect yard waste bags and carts through December 15, 2021.
