Village Of Lisle: Upcoming Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget Meetings

The Village’s budgeting process includes forecasting anticipated revenues, planning for large capital and operational expenses, and assessing the current and projected financial position of the Village. A notable milestone in the Village's FY2022-23 budget process is discussion of the 2021 property tax levy to take place on November 15, 2021 during the Committee of the Whole meeting. Consideration of the tax levy occurs at the December 6, 2021 Village Board meeting, with a presentation of the FY2022-23 proposed budget taking place at the February 21, 2022 Committee of the Whole meeting. A public hearing regarding the budget is scheduled for March 21, 2022. Input on the budget is then considered and the final proposed FY2022-2023 Budget will be presented for adoption by the Village Board during the April 4, 2022 Village Board meeting. 

Residents and community stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the budget process by sharing comments and suggestions during scheduled meetings, the public hearing, or in writing at any time. To learn more about Village finances, visit www.villageoflisle.org/transparency.
