Wanted: women volunteers

The Junior League of Kane and DuPage Counties, Inc. trains women to be civic leaders and serves vulnerable children in DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties. JLKD invites local civic-minded women to make a difference and learn more about the organization during these upcoming volunteer opportunities and social events:

• Combat hunger among local families during a Holiday Sweater Food Sort at Northern Illinois Food Bank on December 16th
• Provide a magical holiday party experience on December 18th for the women and children of Mutual Ground, an Aurora-based agency working to combat the cycle of domestic violence
• Connect with other local women during a holiday lights tour in Geneva onboard JLKD’s Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley
