Winter Whiskey Tasting Features Unlimited Samples, Live Irish Music At Morton Arboretum

The Winter Whiskey Tasting will be held March 14 at Morton Arboretum.

LISLE, IL — Unlimited whiskey samples and live Irish music will come to Morton Arboretum on March 14 for the Winter Whiskey Tasting. Two two-hour tasting sessions are available, with the first scheduled for 3 p.m. and the second planned for 6 p.m.

This is the third year Morton Arboretum has teamed up with Binny's to host the Winter Whiskey Tasting, Special Events Planner Kate Fitzgerald told Patch.

She said around 400 people have attended the event each year, and it has been known to sell out.

"Whiskey enthusiasts are a loyal crowd, and the venue itself adds to the experience," Fitzgerald said.

She added, "Guests often comment on the cozy, cabin-like feel of the space in winter and the ability to try whiskies they have never heard of before."
