WorkNet DuPage Unveils Remodeled Space In Lisle

The career center recently debuted its revamped space, which features a new computer lab, more workshop rooms and upgraded technology.

LISLE, IL — WorkNet DuPage recently unveiled its remodeled space, which adds a new computer lab, more workshop rooms, private offices and upgraded technology to the Lisle career center.

“These renovations showcase the workNet DuPage Career Center as DuPage County’s premier employment and career services resource,” DuPage County Economic Development Committee Chairwoman Amy Chavez said in a news release.

Chavez added, “Our new space was designed with clients in mind, as were our new and expanded program offerings. We want job seekers to know workNet professionals can assist them with each step of their search.”

The space offers job seekers cost-free access to high-speed internet and private work stations that connect them to job boards, resume templates and other tools to help in their career search. Accessible devices are also available for residents with disabilities.

WorkNet DuPage also offers free practice tests for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, in addition to practice exams for credentials in various fields.

Recruiters, job advisors and professionals from College of DuPage will be on hand at WorkNet DuPage to assist job seekers with resume writing, access to job training seminars and more.

WorkNet DuPage is located at 2525 Cabot Dr., Lisle. The career center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
