Tell us about your star student's accomplishments and why they deserve to be recognized on Patch!
My 16-year-old son, Joey, is an amazing, inspiring, well-rounded young man. In addition to his high honor roll achievements and the variety of sports he plays at school, Joey has a big heart. He enjoys volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister at Providence Catholic School Masses, as well as Sunday Mass at St. Joe’s in Manhattan.
Joey is currently enrolling youth for a new program he will be helping lead at St. Joe’s Church this summer. He not only loves hanging out with friends from school, but also enjoys spending time and cooking with his senior citizen friends.
You may have seen Joey riding around the neighborhood with his bike and trailer in a blue T-shirt and hat printed with “Joey’s Home Services.” He is quite the entrepreneur with his power washing, landscaping, and window washing business. If he doesn’t know how to do something, he figures it out!
He amazes my husband and me every day, and we could not be more proud.
What three words best describe your star student?
Smart, ambitious, kind.
