64th Annual Antique Tractor, Steam Engine Show Rolls In To Manhattan Farm

MANHATTAN, IL — The Will County Threshermen’s Association (WCTA) invites the public to step back in time at the 64th Annual Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Show, taking place July 16–19 at the Association's show grounds, Spiess Farm, in Manhattan.

Celebrating America's 250th Anniversary through agriculture, heritage, and community, the four-day event brings together antique tractors, steam engines, farm equipment, demonstrations, exhibits, and family-friendly activities that showcase the technologies and traditions that helped build rural America.

For generations, American agriculture has been the backbone of the nation's economy, communities, and food supply. From horse- and oxen-drawn equipment to steam engines, early tractors, and the advanced machinery used today, agriculture has continually evolved through innovation and ingenuity. The Antique Tractor & Steam Engine Show brings that history to life through operating equipment, live demonstrations, and hands-on educational experiences for visitors of all ages.

This year's featured attractions include Allis-Chalmers tractors and Single Cylinder Engines, while enthusiasts of all makes and models are encouraged to attend and exhibit.

Visitors will experience working demonstrations of historic agricultural practices including threshing, plowing, corn shelling, and saw milling. The show also features antique and garden tractor pulls, a human tractor pull, the Daily Parade of Power, craft and flea market vendors, food vendors, live entertainment, a Civil War Living History Camp, petting zoo, children's farm play area, and numerous displays of vintage agricultural equipment.

"The story of America cannot be told without the story of agriculture," said WCTA President Brad Eike. "For more than six decades, our members have worked to preserve and share the equipment, skills, and traditions that helped build our communities and continue to play an important role today. We are proud to welcome visitors from across the region as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary."
