• 'Flock cameras' can stay on Will County highways in Naperville (nctv17.org) — Manhattan is among several Will County towns now allowed to place or keep license-plate-reading "Flock" cameras along county highways under new intergovernmental agreements. County board members narrowly approved the deals after a lengthy debate over privacy, surveillance, and public safety, and officials say they're working on an ordinance to tighten oversight and accountability for how police use the camera data.
