• 1 Critically Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash In Peotone: Manhattan Fire Officials (patch.com) — Manhattan Fire Protection District crews responded to a serious two-vehicle crash near Center and Barr roads in Peotone, extricating a critically injured patient who was airlifted to a trauma center. Another person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the intersection remains closed as the Will County Sheriff's Office investigates. Manhattan firefighters coordinated with neighboring districts while asking drivers to avoid the area.
