MANHATTAN, IL — HHH Ranch, a nonprofit equine-assisted services center and animal rescue, will host its annual Fall Fest fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 2–6 p.m. at 14101 W. Bruns Road, and for the first time, four local nonprofits will join the ranch to run the games. Admission is free, costumes are encouraged, and families of all ages and abilities are welcome.

The Disability Resource Center, Guardian Angel Community Services, Heartlife Ministries Recovery 180, and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren IL will each host a game, giving families a chance to play together and connect with disability, mental health, and family support close to home. Every game can be adapted and every player wins a prize, while adaptive pony rides, wheelchair-accessible animal petting areas, and accessible parking help every guest take part.

While entry is free, games, pony rides, and select activities require tickets, available for $3 each or 10 for $20. New this year, one animal sponsorship of $19 a month provides unlimited games and pony rides for the entire family for the entirety of the event. Each sponsorship funds a rescued animal's daily care, keeping the ranch's horses and ponies healthy for the riders who depend on them.

"Fall Fest is one of our favorite days of the year," said Christine Doran, HHH Ranch Founder and CEO. "There's nothing like watching a rider with a disability sit on a horse for the first time, or hearing kids laugh as they feed the petting zoo animals. This year, our partners are bringing their hearts and their resources right to the ranch, so families leave with happy memories and real support."

For 11 years, HHH Ranch's equine-assisted learning programs have helped over 6,000 children and adults, and the organization has rescued over 250 animals. Fall Fest proceeds directly support the ranch's rescued animals and its equine-assisted services for foster and post-adoptive youth, individuals with disabilities, and veterans and first responders.
