Beecher Man, 45, Charged With Possession Of Child Sex Abuse Material
The man turned himself in to sheriff's deputies after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

BEECHER, IL — A Beecher man was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of child sex abuse material, the Will County Sheriff's Office said.
Nathanial Travis, 45, surrendered himself to deputies after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Travis is facing 10 counts of felony possession of child sexual abuse material.
A probe started in January 2025 when Will County Sheriff's detectives began investigating multiple CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Throughout the investigation, detectives obtained numerous search warrants and subpoenas regarding this case and identified Nathanial Travis as a possible suspect. On July 8, 2025, detectives executed a search warrant on Travis’ home and seized several electronic devices pending a forensic extraction. A forensic review found several videos and images of CSAM, the sheriff's office said.
An arrest warrant was issued on April 6. Travis surrendered himself on April 7.

Travis was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility without bond, pending a court hearing.
