Illinois Store Hours For Christmas 2017, New Year's

The holidays can get hectic, and it's easy to forget those must-have items. That means last-minute trips to the grocery store, Walmart or Target are all be inevitable for most of us. So it's important to know the holiday schedule for major retailers in Illinois.

Here's a list of what's open for Christmas 2017 and New Year's in the Land of Lincoln:

Jewel-Osco

Stores close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day. All stores close at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will be open on regular hours on New Year’s Day.

Trader Joe’s

Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will close at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Whole Foods

Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. They will also open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

Costco

Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and closed on Christmas.

Target

All stores will open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Stores will be closed on Christmas. On New Year’s Eve, all stores open at regular time — either 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. — and will close at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. On New Year’s Day, all stores open at regular time and will close at 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight depending on location, so check with your store.

Sam’s Club

Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and Christmas.

Walmart

Stores will be closed on Christmas and open on regular hours on New Year’s Day.

CVS

On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, select CVS Pharmacy stores will be open and front store and pharmacy hours will vary by location. For a list of CVS Pharmacy locations in a given area, customers can go here. CVS pharmacies within Target stores will also be closed on Christmas Day.

Meijer

Stores will be closed on Christmas Day, and customers are encouraged to use the store locator for other holiday hours.

Mariano’s

Stores close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Stores close at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve and will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

ALDI

Stores will have limited hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve; check the website for your location. Stores are closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Food 4 Less

Stores are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Christmas Eve, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. New Year's Eve and 8 a.m. to midnight on New Year's Day. Closed on Christmas Day.
