Organizations Enrich Lives
Manhattan Historical Museum salutes local organizations such as 4-H, Scouting, Woman's Club, and Farm Bureau, which improve the community.
The Manhattan Township Historical Society is proud to solute many local organizations, which have improved, beautified and brought the community together. Visit the Museum at 255 S. State St. on April 22 to view this free exhibit. Some groups like the Manhattan Garden Club have a 70-year history. Local youths still participate in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H programs, which teach life long lessons and leadership skills. The Lions Club, Operation Care Package, Royal Neighbors and Manhattan Woman’s Club are but a few of the groups, which have impacted the community. The Gleaners and Modern Woodsman will have artifacts displayed.
If you are a member of any Manhattan club and have artifacts or the group’s history, please share it with the Historical Society so we can share it with the community.
While at the Museum, visit the highlights of 130 year of Manhattan history display showing the growth of the town.
