Parade Winners Announced

Winners of Manhattan's Labor Day parade announced and fireworks sponsors recognized.

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank all who participated and helped with the successful Labor Day parade. Congratulations go to American Legion Auxillary Post #935 for their first place win in the non-profit category.

First Bank of Manhattan captured the first place award in the business category and did an excellent job of following the Disco theme of the parade.

Thank you to the many local groups participated with walkers, floats and an abundance of candy.

The combined Lincoln-Way Schools Band and the Manhattan Junior High School Band provided great selections. Their music filled the town with uplifting beats.
