2 Injured in Crash at 187th and Wolf

MOKENA, IL - Police in Mokena responded to a head-on crash at the intersection of 187th and Wolf Road around 7:30 p.m. Friday night.

Mokena Police Chief Steve Vaccaro said an officer witnessed the crash, which resulted from one of the vehicles appearing to disobey a red light.

There do not appear to be any life-threatening injuries, Vaccaro said.

Both Wolf Road and 187th Street will be closed in both directions in the immediate area until the involved vehicles are removed from the roadway.

Vaccaro said it is believed that only one person was in each of the cars at the time of the crash.
