2nd Annual Pfc Aaron Toppen Memorial Motorcycle Run. To be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Second Annual Pfc. Aaron Toppen Memorial Motorcycle Run will be held on Sunday, August 28th 2016.

The run is open to motorcycles, cars, and trucks. It is an approx 50 mile police escorted ride, that will start and end at the Pipefitters Training Facility in Mokena. The route will take the Run past the cemetery Aaron is buried at, and go to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Ellwood, then return to the Pipefitters.

Registration/staging will be between 7:30-9:30am. The run will depart promptly at 10am.

Cost is: $20 per driver. $10 per Passenger this includes meal after the Run.

Those not interested in attending the Run, but would like to attend the after-party consisting of food, beer, live entertainment by Destiny Unknown, and a ceremony. This will start at approx noon or upon arrival of the Run back to the pipefitters. Ceremony will be at approx 1 pm. Cost is $10 per person, kids 10 and under free.

All proceeds will go to the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association for special needs children, and Operation Warrior Wishes, a non profit organization that sends veterans, wounded veterans, and Gold Star family members to professional sporting events nation-wide. It is also arranged that they meet the athletes at those events.
