3 People Hurt in Tuesday-Morning Crash on I-80

A westbound semi-tractor trailer collided with a car early Tuesday morning on Interstate 80 between New Lenox and the LaGrange Road exit. Three people hurt in the crash were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries were not believed to be severe. The crash took place around 4:30 a.m. and remains under investigation, according to the Illinois State Police. Traffic was able to resume prior to rush hour.
