On Saturday March 15th starting at 10:00 AM you’ll be able to join us in the Adult Computer Lab as we create 3-D nameplates with our BRAND NEW Makerbot 2x 3-D printer!
Join us for three separate one hour sessions (future Dates TBA) to learn the basics of Tinker CAD and learn how to create three dimensional objects. The three sessions will culminate in the design and creation of a name plate. Our hope is that this knowledge will help lay a foundation for the creation of
practical objects as in replacement parts, engineering design by creating
miniatures, or for recreational purposes as in designing knick knacks like a
pencil holder or a Chicago Bulls logo.
For more information or if you have any questions please call the library at 708-479-9663 and ask for Luke Surdel or email him at Lsudel@mokena.il.lib.us.
