4th Graders Sell Bracelets To Help Veterans

Students at Arbury Hills Elementary School sold bracelets during lunch to help raise money for veterans in need.

MOKENA, IL - Students in fourth grade classes at Arbury Hills Elementary School in Mokena earlier this month spent a week raising money for veterans. The students sold bracelets during lunch from Oct. 8 until Oct. 12 to raise money, fourth grade teacher Kelly McGreehin said.

The fundraiser was created in connection with the class reading of "The Power of W.OW's," which has a theme of raising money to help others in need.

We are so proud of all of the students and their efforts to understand the importance of supporting our Veterans," McGreehin said.
