5 Park District Commissioner Positions Up For Election In April

MOKENA, IL — Five commissioner positions on the Mokena Community Park District Board of Commissioners will be up for election in April. The park district said three 4-year full-term seats and two 2-year unexpired seats will be voted on in the April 6, 2021 consolidated election.

Nomination papers will be available beginning Sept. 22, at the Mokena Community Park District Administration Center, 10925 LaPorte Road, for those who wish to run for office. for persons

The filing period for petitions begins at 9 a.m. Dec. 14 through 5 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Mokena Community Park District Administration Center. The Administration Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
