Active Sit & Fit is a Great Low Intensity Workout

This is a perfect class for older adults looking to improve balance and strength, and those recovering from an injury.

Mokena Park District is offering ACTIVE SIT & FIT on Mondays and Thursdays, March 21–April 28, 2022 from 10:15–11:15am at The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center, 10847 La Porte Road, Mokena.

This class meets twice a week while improving your balance, energy, strength and cardio stamina. This new low intensity workout is all modified to a seated position with some standing exercises utilizing the chair as balance. A perfect class for older adults, those just starting a routine, individuals looking to improve balance as well as those recovering from specific injuries and need a low intensity workout.
