MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Bert, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
The society said Bert is a 2-year-old mixed breed male. He is a very handsome and distinguished looking boy, with gorgeous eyes. Bert can be a little shy initially, but once he trusts he is friendly, gentle and loves to cuddle. He just needs a little time and patience to feel safe and loved.
According to the society, he gets along with other dogs. Bert also knows 'sit' and takes treats very gently.
