Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Daphney
Daphney is a 1 and a half year old hound mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee.
MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Daphney, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Daphney is a 1 and a half year old hound mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee, the society said. She is active and energetic and is great with other dogs.
The society said she is getting better with house-training and only has an occasional accident. She would benefit from some training but does know "sit" and is treat-motivated.
