Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Preston

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Preston, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Preston is a 1-year-old male boxer/lab mix. The society said he is a very gentle and sweet dog, and can be a little shy in new situations.

Preston loves others dogs and the society said it would be great if he could find a home with another dog so he can follow their lead. Preston is smart and eager to learn and already knows "sit" and "paw."
