MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Rex, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
Rex is a 4-year-old male Lab mix. The society said he is very playful, energetic and strong. He is friendly and sweet and likes everyone he meets.
Rex would benefit from some training, but is trainable, the society said. He knows 'sit' and takes treats gently. Rex also does not like cats.
